Roberts Co recently completed a 29-storey commercial office tower in North Sydney.
The project, developed in conjunction with Client Representatives White & Partners and Generate Property Group, delivered a state-of-the-art workplace now occupied by Zurich Financial Services Australia as the anchor tenant.
Following the demolition of an existing 6-storey building, a new 20,000m2 PCA A-Grade building was constructed with 29 floors, an integrated fitout, a 2-level podium with provision for a café, a sky terrace, 3 basement car parking levels and end-of-trip facilities in a bustling North Sydney CBD precinct.
The iconic commercial tower was designed by architects FJMT with services design by AECOM and structure by Northrop. It achieves a 5-Star Green Star Design and As Built Rating V1.1, and 5-Star NABERS Energy rating.
Construction commenced after an early contractor involvement (ECI) stage in May 2018 and achieved practical completion in November 2020, 5 weeks ahead of the contract date.
“This has turned out to be the smoothest, most collaborative construction project I’ve ever worked on, and I’ve been doing them my whole career” – Mark Grant, White & Partners.

North Shore Health Hub
Design and Construct
Roberts Co recently completed the North Shore Health Hub for Dexus adjacent to the Royal North Shore Hospital health precinct, one of the busiest Hospital operational environments in NSW.
Designed by Billard Leece, the mixed-use medical facility with an overall building NLA of 16,915m2 consists of two commercial tower buildings sitting on top of a 5-storey 17,000m2 basement for 357 car spaces and 2-levels of podium.
Tower A (health facility) and Tower B (commercial facility) sets a new benchmark in the provision of health services and healthcare workspace – including a day surgery facility, medical centre, medical imaging, pathology, cancer treatment, medical consulting suites, retail amenity and a 76m pedestrian link bridge safely installed in the live hospital environment, that connects the building to North Shore Private Hospital.
Construction commenced in December 2018 under a D&C contract with 10 months of extensive shoring and basement excavation on the challenging site with an 18m cross fall. The building achieved practical completion in February 2021.
“I want to commend Roberts Co for the professional manner in which they have engaged with the hospital to date, during which has been an unprecedented period of activity, both from a construction point of view and from the point of view of clinical activity with planning and works associated with COVID-19. I’m very pleased to be able to say to you that our experience of working with Roberts Co on site, and with their subcontractors, has been brilliant throughout.” – John McMurray, Director Corporate Services, Royal North Shore Hospital
