Roberts Co are proud to be engaged by Investa to construct the 3 McNab Avenue, Build to Rent development in Footscray, Victoria.
Comprising 702 Build to Rent Apartments over 3 Buildings at 19 storeys, 16 storeys and 8 storeys respectively, it is Investa’s first BTR project being rolled out as part of their new ‘Indi’ brand in partnership with Oxford Property Group.
The precinct will include 275 carparks and amenities including gymnasium, co-working space, private dining, lounge and games areas and a rooftop basketball court.
We are excited to be partnering with Investa for the first time to bring this precinct to life and contribute to the vibrant community feel of Footscray.
Roberts Co delivered the 65 storey apartment building above one of Melbourne’s finest examples of early streamlined modern architecture.
The project includes restoration of the heritage façade, excavation and construction of a new two-level basement back to ground level and construction of a 65 storey tower above consisting of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments as well as sub and penthouse apartments.

Roberts Co have been appointed for the design and construction of the Children’s Hospital at Westmead Stage 2 Paediatric Services Building (PSB).
The proposed PSB will enable the expansion and replacement of existing paediatric services at Children’s Hospital at Westmead, providing additional surgery and critical care services.
The PSB is a high-rise state-of-art paediatric hospital consisting of new front of house and retail facilities; pharmacy; surgical short stay unit; perioperative services; PICU; NICU; oncology inpatient units and family focused retreat areas; day oncology unit; medical and surgical inpatient units; family accommodation; short stay parking; loading dock, back of house and logistics facilities; and a public domain and associated landscaping.

Roberts Co has been engaged to deliver a state-of-the-art commercial precinct at 130 Little Collins in Melbourne’s CBD. The development will see 28 levels of premium office space with columnless floors for optimum flexibility.
The precinct is targeting 5-star Green Star, 5-star NABERS and Silver WELL ratings.
Roberts Co delivered the 4.5 star boutique hotel for Lanson Place, including pool and spa facilities, gymnasium and guest lounge.
Situated in a premium location on East Melbourne’s Albert Street, the 15 level tower will include 140 hotel rooms; two basement levels; food and beverage on ground floor; and a rooftop terrace on level 14. The project will see the building’s heritage architectural design and sitting preserved whilst achieving a 5-star Green Star Rating.
Roberts Co was engaged to redevelop a 40-storey high rise office building at 500 Bourke Street, including services upgrades, lobby upgrade and new amenities. Using the best in design, engineering, operational and management solutions, this project aims to enhance the public realm and achieve optimum performance for businesses within the workspace.
With a 6-star Green Star Design & As-Built rating, a 5.5-star NABERS Energy Base Build rating and a Platinum WELL rating, Roberts Co is proud to deliver the refurbishment of this major office building.
Roberts Co was engaged to deliver the second stage of three ultra-modern buildings that bridge Parkville’s Biomedical district with Melbourne’s CBD.
Stage 2 comprises a 16 storey building that will accommodate collaboration between academic institutions and industry, supporting and advancing Melbourne’s position as a centre for research, development and innovation.
Work commenced on the 5-star Green Star rated project in February 2020, with completion mid-2022. Roberts Co were also engaged for the specialist integrated fitout, CSL Melbourne.
Roberts Co has been engaged to deliver a state-of-the-art head office fitout for CSL in the heart of Melbourne’s world-class medical research district.
The facility consists of 16 levels including 7 levels of office fitout and 9 levels of laboratories, consisting of commercial office space, conference facilities, common facilities, cleanrooms and laboratories. The fitout will be integrated with the base build at Elizabeth North Stage 2, also being completed by Roberts Co.
This 5-star Green Star Design will be proudly delivered by an experienced team in both laboratories and high-rise construction.

Roberts Co has been engaged to undertake the ECI Planning Phase for the redevelopment of Greenwich Hospital on Sydney’s lower north shore.
The project will see the existing hospital undergo a major redevelopment while remaining operational to service its existing patients. The ECI Planning Phase will be followed by two delivery stages to minimise disruption to operations on the health precinct.
The final project will include two high-rise seniors living buildings; a health, wellness and residential care building; a low-rise respite facility; basement carparking; and landscaping across the precinct.

New build and refurbishment within an operational environment
Roberts Co was engaged to manage the design development, through an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) agreement, for the construction of a proposed new 13-storey hotel at 38 Baxter Road, Mascot.
The Moxy Sydney Airport Hotel comprises 301 hotel rooms; entry from Baxter Road for guest drop-off/pick-up and shuttle bus service; reception, lounge/waiting area, café, library, restaurant and back of house services on the ground floor; and car parking spaces on Level 1 to Level 3.
Roberts Co are currently delivering the Wentworth Point new High School.
The school incorporates learning spaces specific to senior school requirements including science, visual arts, performance, fitness, wood/metal, food technology and supporting spaces. Split across six levels, the school will also include a library, administration, staff areas, student services, a canteen, outdoor covered workshop and a quadrangle.
Roberts Co managed design development through the ECI Planning Phase, with works currently under construction.
This project is being delivered as a 5-day work week program, a first for School Infrastructure NSW.
Roberts Co delivered MQX4 at Macquarie Exchange in Macquarie Park with joint venture partners Frasers Property Industrial and Winten Property Group, alongside Touchstone Partners as Client Project Manager, on the first stage of this innovative precinct.
MQX4 is the first of four new commercial office buildings that will form the centre of Macquarie Exchange – Australia’s first community business district and a vibrant mixed-use destination occupying prime position at the entrance of the new Macquarie Park Metro Station.
Beautifully designed by architects Bates Smart, the 9-storey MQX4 building (20,668m2 GFA) comprises of PCA A-grade office space, ground floor retail and four levels of basement car parking.
The project targeted a 6 Star Green Star Design and As Built rating, 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rating, a 4.5 Star NABERS Water rating, WELL Silver Shell and Core certification, WiredScore Gold Certification as well as incorporate some of the industry’s leading Smart Building technologies.
Frasers Property Industrial and Winten Property Group
Roberts Co delivered the 29-storey commercial office tower, Zurich Tower, in North Sydney.
The project, developed in conjunction with Client Representatives White & Partners and Generate Property Group, delivered a state-of-the-art workplace now occupied by Zurich Financial Services Australia as the anchor tenant.
Following the demolition of an existing 6-storey building, a new 20,000m2 PCA A-Grade building was constructed with 29 floors, an integrated fitout, a 2-level podium with provision for a café, a sky terrace, 3 basement car parking levels and end-of-trip facilities in a bustling North Sydney CBD precinct.
The iconic commercial tower was designed by architects FJMT with services design by AECOM and structure by Northrop. It achieves a 5-Star Green Star Design and As Built Rating V1.1, and 5-Star NABERS Energy rating.
Construction commenced after an early contractor involvement (ECI) stage in May 2018 and achieved practical completion in November 2020, 5 weeks ahead of the contract date.

Roberts Co delivered the North Shore Health Hub for Dexus adjacent to the Royal North Shore Hospital health precinct, one of the busiest Hospital operational environments in NSW.
Designed by Billard Leece, the mixed-use medical facility with an overall building NLA of 16,915m2 consists of two commercial tower buildings sitting on top of a 5-storey 17,000m2 basement for 357 car spaces and 2-levels of podium.
Tower A (health facility) and Tower B (commercial facility) sets a new benchmark in the provision of health services and healthcare workspace – including a day surgery facility, medical centre, medical imaging, pathology, cancer treatment, medical consulting suites, retail amenity and a 76m pedestrian link bridge safely installed in the live hospital environment, that connects the building to North Shore Private Hospital.
Construction commenced in December 2018 under a D&C contract with 10 months of extensive shoring and basement excavation on the challenging site with an 18m cross fall. The building achieved practical completion in February 2021.

Roberts Co delivered the state-of-the-art 44,000m2 GFA Clinical Services Building at the Concord Hospital as part of the Stage 1 Redevelopment for NSW Health Infrastructure.
The new building, known as the Rusty Priest Centre for Rehabilitation and Aged Care, re-houses and expands Aged Complex Care and Rehabilitation services, Veteran’s Physical and Mental Health Treatment and Rehabilitation services.
The project includes an integrated Cancer Care Centre, as well as inpatient services in new purpose-built facilities. A 3-storey atrium links the new building into the current clinical services building.
Construction commenced in April 2019 with a NSW Government first – a 5-day work week implemented on the project.
Roberts Co and the NSW Government have jointly engaged UNSW to study the benefits of the 5-day work week on the mental health and wellbeing of site workers and their families. While we await the results of the final report, the interim report saw higher productivity and happiness on site and an increase in quality of work and safety.
Roberts Co delivered the Stage 1A Infrastructure Works at the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct for NSW Health Infrastructure.
The scope of the Infrastructure Works included diversion of existing sewer main which runs through the Hospital site, installation of a new Stormwater system to alleviate the flood risks on Goulburn Street, new HV and ICT conduit networks, adjustment of the existing road network to connect Burnside Drive to Elizabeth Street and new Fire Service infrastructure in preparation for the main works package.
Liverpool Hospital is the busiest operational Hospital in NSW with the complex project requiring complete continuity of current hospital and surrounding precinct operations.
Construction commenced in January 2020 with a 5-day work week being implemented on the project.

Schools at Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct

Roberts Co delivered two new schools at the Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct for School Infrastructure NSW.
The new precinct caters for 1,000 primary students, 1,500 high school students and a 120 place Intensive English Centre to accommodate the relocation of Meadowbank Public School and Marsden High School.
The new schools include multi-level, multi-purpose, integrated school building with a primary school wing and high school wing; 4-level central library connecting the schools; associated site landscaping and public domain improvements; and on-site car park for 60 cars.
The facility includes collaborative general and specialist learning hubs, adaptable classroom home bases, a centralised library that is embedded into the landscape, laboratories and workshops, and an indoor gymnasium.
This is one of School Infrastructure NSW’s fastest delivery programmes with design and delivery utilising Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) kit of parts construction.
