Monaco Hickey was instrumental in delivering a world-class plasma product production facility for the global, biopharmaceutical company, CSL.

Three levels were constructed, incorporating an extensive electrical and mechanical building plant, new substation, transformers, re-production plant infrastructure, production processing, administrative support offices and warehousing.

Monaco Hickey successfully co-ordinated and site managed approximately $100m of product processing equipment and services in conjunction with facility construction.

The finished building features a heavily loaded concrete floor and lightweight, long-span roof-truss framing, which provides a separation of trafficable plant and ceiling spaces from clean spaces underneath.  At completion of the structure, Monaco Hickey was also engaged to integrate specialist tenancy fit-outs

This project delivered a state-of-the-art, clean room manufacturing facility, and was finished on time and within budget. The structure received an MBAV Award in 2014, which recognised the building’s outstanding construction.
