Congratulations to Roberts Co Executive Chair, Alison Mirams, who received the Legacy Leadership Award at the Property Council NSW People in Property Awards night last Friday.

The Property Council NSW commended Alison for her influence and dedication to making the industry a better place for all.

“Alison is deeply passionate about addressing the systemic issues that exist in the construction industry and attracting and retaining more women in the industry. Alison’s impact on the property industry is undeniable and she has consistently used her platform to advocate for mental health, wellbeing and diversity.”

Alison was honoured to receive the award and address the guests.

“At Roberts Co, we have been focused on implementing big bold structural changes to ‘Build a Better Way’. I am aware that not all of our changes are popular, but we can’t keep doing what we’ve always done. We need to improve the industry for the generations that will follow in our footsteps.

So if I can ask one thing of everyone – please, at your next meeting, in your next RFT, or in your next project start-up meeting, just ask (and act on) one simple question – what could we do differently?”
