Last Friday represented a major milestone at 130 Little Collins, as the project team came together to celebrate at the Topping Out ceremony.

Roberts Co CEO Matt Bourne, State Director – Victoria, Andrew La Rocca and Project Manager Vincent Aloi were honoured to join Golden Age Group Managing Director, Jeff Xu to host staff, partners and consultants, along with special guest, the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sally Capp AO.

The Lord Mayor delivered an encouraging picture of the local economy and recognised the contribution that this brand-new build – the only new CBD strata offices delivered in 2024 – would make to Melbourne’s prosperity.

Speaking at the event, Jeff Xu, Managing Director of Golden Age Group, said that everyone involved in the project – Roberts Co, and the all-star design team of Cox Architecture, Hecker Guthrie, and Jack Merlo – could be justifiably proud of what was being achieved.

“This project will create thousands of jobs, in both its construction and occupying phases, with huge flow-on benefits for small and medium-sized businesses, local retailers, residential developments, and for the hospitality venues that add so much to the vibrancy of this marvellous city.”

Roberts Co CEO Matt Bourne took the opportunity to also show his gratitude for the work delivered to date.

130 Little Collins is scheduled for completion later this year.
