Monaco Hickey, A Division of Roberts Co has successfully delivered the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) expansion to Monash University, Clayton campus.
Located within the Australian Synchrotron and operated by ANSTO, the new build was designed by Wood and comprises of a PC2 grade lab fit out on the ground floor, associated offices on level 1 and a services plant platform on the roof.
The building includes extensive services, such as process gases, mechanical (exhaust, supply air, heating, cooling), electrical, hydraulics, Building Management System, security and dry fire to facilitate the intended use of the building.
The lab fit out comprises of fume cupboards, bio safety cabinets, cytotoxic cabinets and lab grade fridges and freezers.
