Roberts Co recently facilitated a program called Try A Trade on behalf of the NSW Department of Education, designed to create clear career pathways for women in the construction industry.

The program took place over one week at the new Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) campus at TAFE Kingswood, where participants gained experience across civil construction, electrical and carpentry. The team tasks included building a chair and table, operating a 5T excavator and a 2T skid steer (both simulator and live) and creating an ethernet cable.
