Members of our Roberts Co team recently attended the Property Council Victoria inaugural Sustainability Outlook event with esteemed keynote Prof. John Thwaites AM delivering an insightful presentation on the future of ESG principles and sustainable development goals.
We were delighted to hear 500 Bourke Street referenced as a leading example of a full building transformation which avoided wasteful demolition and the embodied carbon of an entirely new building.
Roberts Co is proud to actively partner with ISPT on 500 Bourke Street to maintain their sustainability principles across the build, and contribute to anchor tenant TAL Australia’s ESG objectives.
Key 500 Bourke sustainability targets:
• The base building will operate on 100% renewable energy and be carbon neutral from day one of operation, with these standards to continue indefinitely.
• Scheduled for completion in late-2023, the project will target a 6-star Green Star and 5.5 Star NABERS energy rating.
