Congratulations to Roberts Co Head of Operations, Stephen Surjan who took out the ADCO Champion of Change Award at last nights 2021 NAWIC Awards for Excellence.
This award celebrates an individual’s commitment towards the promotion of gender equality within the construction, property or related industries through accelerating women’s leadership presence and advancing the interests of women.
“We need to challenge the “normal”, think outside the square and provide opportunities to women who are trying to balance life, their family and work.
My philosophy is that people don’t change their capabilities just because their circumstances change (i.e. becoming a parent), they are the same people capable of the same greatness they were before their life changed.”
