Roberts Co Preferred for New Women and Babies Hospital in JV with Webuild in WA

“This project creates opportunity to reimagine and modernise healthcare facilities in WA and reflects our commitment to delivering projects that leave a lasting legacy in the community.” Emma Shipley, Managing Director

Roberts Co is proud to announce the Cook Government has signed a Letter of Intent to move to the next stage of negotiations with joint venture partners Webuild and Roberts Co taking a significant step forward in delivering the $1.8 billion New Women and Babies Hospital Project.

This project will expand services and choice for women, newborns and families and replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital in Western Australia. The letter of intent represents a key step toward appointment of a managing contractor for the project, to deliver a world-class Women and Babies Hospital in the Fiona Stanley Hospital precinct and a major expansion of Osborne Park Hospital.

More than 1,400 local jobs are expected to be created during construction along with significant opportunities for local suppliers and contractors.

Roberts Co Managing Director, Emma Shipley, GAICD, FCA, is proud to bring our expertise and collaboration to such a transformative initiative, working closely with our partners at Webuild.
