PROJECT KICK OFF | Roberts Co, along with clients Woodlink and Duo Projects, recently took part in a sod turning and traditional smoking ceremony, conducted by Wurundjeri Elder, Perry Wandin to symbolise the start of construction at 502 Albert Street.
An ancient aboriginal custom that involves burning various native plants to produce smoke, which has cleansing properties and the ability to make pathways for a brighter future.
Situated in a premium location in East Melbourne, the 15 level tower will include 140 hotel rooms; two basement levels; food and beverage on ground floor; and a rooftop terrace on level 14. The project will see the building’s heritage architectural design and sitting preserved whilst achieving a 5-star Green Star Rating.
