Alison Mirams Wins Business Woman of the Year Award

Alison Mirams, CEO, Roberts Pizzarotti was awarded the Laing O’Rourke Business Woman of the Year award at the recent NAWIC NSW Awards for Excellence.

Established in 1995, the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) champions and empowers women in the construction and related industries to reach their full potential.

NAWIC NSW President Sarah Hogan says the awards are a clear expression of the progress being made by Australian women in construction, and pointed to Alison’s extensive achievements as the key reason for winning the award.

“A visionary business woman, Alison has risen through the ranks from contract
administrator to lead Australia’s newest construction firm,” Ms Hogan says.

“Alison has strong commercial expertise and significant site experience, making her an exceptional role model for women in our industry. Passionate about growing the female talent pool, Alison is a mentor, speaker and promoter of women and girls in construction,” Ms Hogan adds.

Roberts Pizzarotti was also proud to sponsor the Award for Contribution to a Project’s Development, which was won by Angela Jeffrey. She received the award for her work as Project Director with Health Infrastructure on the Hornsby Hospital Redevelopment Project.
